Drumming is an important part of my own spiritual practice, for shamanic journeywork, drumming in circle with others, and simply for the joy of it. The desire to deepen my relationship with the spirit of drum, the heartbeat of the Earth, the beat of my own heart, led me to begin building drums of my own. I love making them, and strive to honour the spirit of the animals whose skins I use, the tree whose wood is bent to make the frame, and that of the drum itself as its own voice emerges.
These drums are made with laminated maple frames and come with a beater. Often they are made to order so it may take up to 3-4 weeks before it is ready to ship.
