EMERALD SPRITE STUDIO

Fetishes are powerful reminders of spirit.  Whether they serve as symbols for archetypical energies that we relate to, actually become a vessel for that spirit to reside in, or a combination of both, fetishes allow our younger self to play and connect with deep truths.  As we develop relationships with fetishes that live in our homes and on our altars, they can help us move from ordinary reality and into connection with all the beings of Earth and Sky.

These little creatures are all dry felted by Sylvan.  As lumps of soft, colored wool gradually turn into body, limbs, ears, and face each one takes on it's own unique personality.  Sylvan has made fox, bears, crows, horses, turtles,  cougars, pegasus, black panthers, whales, buffalo, packs of wolves, and many others.  Though size varies most of the animals are 5 inches by 3 inches, and about 2 inches at the thickest spots.  As stock is always changing depending on which animal spirits are coming around while Sylvan is working, it's best to e-mail her dandeionsister@aol.com and see what creatures are available at the moment.  Feel free to inquire if you are looking for a specific animal and place a custom order.  The cost for these animals starts at $35.

If you're interested in creating your own felted animal you may be interested in the workshop:  Tools for Connection, Creating Sacred Rattles and Fetish Animals
