The altars we build offer the divine a vessel to fill and allow us to reverently express our passionate hearts.  Our personal alter can be a tool to focus our intention, to celebrate our inspiration and gratitude, to open to possibility, and to seek guidance and assistance.  Often the foundation of an altar is a cloth, a sacred bit of textile that sets the tone and integrates the elements that will be combined as the altar is built.

      This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to create their own one of a kind alter-cloth, their own sacred ground, using freeform fabric collage.  Prior sewing experience, though helpful, is not necessary.  Join us for a day of creation in sacred space.
