As a dear friend and teacher of mine once pointed out, when babies are born they are given many gifts to welcome them into the world and aid them on their new life journey.  Among these gifts one commonly finds a rattle and at least one stuffed animal companion.  As adults these can continue to be important tools for our spiritual practice.  This workshop is an opportunity to come together in sacred circle and each create our own rawhide rattle and dry felted animal fetish.  We will explore how these tools have traditionally been used and how they can connect us with the Earth and Spirit, becoming powerful reminders of our ancestors and guides while we move though ordinary reality.  Working with ritual and shamanic journeying, we will create our sacred objects and allow them to begin filling with spirit as we strengthen our bond with those who walk with us on our life path.
